How to measure, in 3 steps

Grab a soft measuring tape. Measure in your underwear, standing, in front of a mirror, keeping the tape snug but never tight.

Your band measurement

Run the tape around your ribcage, directly under your bust, flat and level all the way around. Breathe normally, then write the number down in inches. That's your band measurement.

Your bust measurement

Place the tape across the fullest part of your bust, without compressing. Stand tall with your arms down at your sides. Write down this second number.

The difference

Subtract your band measurement from your bust measurement. The gap gives you your cup: 1 inch = A, 2 = B, 3 = C, 4 = D, 5 = DD, 6 = DDD, 7 = G, 8 = H, 9 = I.

Size chart: underwear

For underwear, only your hip measurement matters. Measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape level. Between two sizes, choose the larger one: underwear should hug without leaving marks.

Three tips before you choose

  • Support comes from the band, not the straps. If you have to tighten the straps to feel supported, your band size is too big. Go down one band size.
  • Between two sizes, take the larger one. Our fabrics have stretch and relax slightly after the first few washes. A bra that's too tight leaves marks and becomes uncomfortable within a few hours.
  • Your size may have changed. Weight gain or loss, pregnancy, menopause: your band size shifts over time. Measure again rather than trusting the size you bought five years ago.

Frequently asked questions

I'm between two sizes, which should I choose?

Take the larger one. Care fabrics have stretch and soften slightly with wear. A size that's too snug marks your skin, compresses your ribcage, and ends up at the back of the drawer.

I don't know my bra size, what should I do?

Follow the three steps in the "How to measure" section. Two tape measurements and one subtraction are all it takes. You'll get your band size and your cup, ready to enter in the calculator.

My cup size is larger than I, what now?

Our largest size is 5XL, which covers body types beyond an I cup on wider band sizes. Write to us before ordering and we'll confirm the right size based on your exact measurements.

Does the bra run small or large?

It runs true to size, as long as you start from your actual measurements rather than habit. Most exchanges for fit come from an overestimated band size: many women have been wearing a band that's too loose for years.

Can I exchange it if the size isn't right?

Yes. You have 14 days from delivery to request a size exchange, on unworn items in their original packaging. Contact our customer service team and we'll arrange the exchange with you.

How do I care for it so it keeps its shape?

Machine wash cold, ideally in a mesh laundry bag, no fabric softener, and hang to dry. No dryer and no high spin: those are what stretch out the elastic and cost you support.
